A bridal booking includes a trial six to eight weeks before the date, a written note of every product used, and the wedding morning itself with hair and makeup by the same person. Bridal parties are quoted per person and planned into one running order.
The trial runs about two hours. Bring photographs of what you like, and anything you have tried that did not work. You leave knowing exactly what the morning will look like.
On the day Roxy comes to you and brings everything with her. Timings run backwards from when you need to leave, not forwards from when she arrives, which is the difference between finishing calmly and finishing late.
Asian and Sikh weddings are a regular part of the work, more than seventy of them, hair and makeup both. Where there is more than one function the look for each is agreed at the trial.
How far in advance should I book? Summer Saturdays often go a year out. Can you do my mother and bridesmaids? Yes, quoted per person. Do you do hair as well? Both, by the same person.
Do you travel? Across London with no travel charge, and into Kent by arrangement. Is there a deposit? Ask when you enquire; dates are held once that is settled.
Do I need a trial?
No. A trial isn’t essential, and Roxy can create your wedding look without one. If you prefer, the consultation can be done by text or phone. She does recommend a trial, though, as it gives you the chance to try the look, make any tweaks and feel even more relaxed, beautiful and prepared for the big day.
Can you do makeup in a dark room, and what setup do I need?
Yes. Roxy brings her own makeup chair, kit and lighting, so a dim room is no problem. She can set up in a bedroom or by a kitchen table. All she needs is a little surface space for her products, a chair for you to sit in and a plug socket. Roxy will do the rest.
Wedding bookings run across Woolwich, Greenwich, Blackheath, Eltham and Bexley, and there is a home studio in Thamesmead for trials.
